Man named following Perranporth death


Police appeal for witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses following the discovery of a body on Perranporth beach.

Police were called just after 8.30am on Monday 6th February after reports of a body of a man at Perran Sands, Perranporth. 

The body has since been identified as that of Stephan Lloyd Thomas aged 43 from Truro. Next of kin have been informed and the death is currently being treated as unexplained.

Police are appealing to the public for information and would like to hear from anyone who knew Stephen, or who saw him in the days prior up to his death.

Anyone who can help police piece together the final movements of Stephen Thomas is asked to contact police on 101 or quoting log number 127 for the 6th of February.
